Pactit hasn’t launched yet. Today this website does one thing with your information: it takes an email address from people who want to know when we open. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to get it removed.

Who we are

This site is operated by Pactit, based in the United States. For anything about your information, email hi@pactitapp.com.

What we collect

Only what you give us, plus a few technical details recorded automatically when you submit the form:

• your email address;
• your IP address and browser user-agent, to spot spam and abuse;
• the page that referred you, and the date and time you signed up.

There is no account, no login and nothing to buy on this site yet.

What we don’t do

• No tracking cookies, analytics, advertising tags or session recording.
• No third-party scripts. Our fonts are served from our own server, so your browser never contacts Google or anyone else.
• No profiling, and no automated decisions about you.
• We never sell, rent or trade your information.

The only thing stored on your device is your cookie preference, kept in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device.

How we use it

To email you when Pactit opens, and possibly one or two short updates before that. Nothing else. We won’t add you to an unrelated newsletter or use your address to market anything but Pactit.

Who else sees it

Signups are stored on our web hosting in a location that isn’t reachable from the public internet, and a copy of each one is emailed to our own Pactit mailbox. Our hosting and email are provided by Hostinger, acting as our service provider. Nobody else has access.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

Until Pactit launches and we’ve told you about it, then we delete the list. If Pactit doesn’t launch, we delete it rather than hold on to it.

Your choices

Email hi@pactitapp.com and we will, at your request: tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Every email we send also has an unsubscribe link.

We honour these requests for everyone who asks, wherever you live — including residents of California and other US states with privacy laws, and visitors from the UK, EU and Brazil. We won’t charge you or treat you differently for asking.

Children

This site isn’t intended for children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we’ll remove it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, and the signup file sits outside the publicly served part of the server, readable only by our own account. No system is perfectly secure, but we deliberately hold very little — an email address and a few technical details — which limits what any breach could expose.

Changes

When the app launches, this policy will be replaced by a fuller one covering accounts, photo proof and payments. If we change it in a way that affects information we already hold, we’ll email you first.
