Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 September 2026
These terms cover this website and the Pactit waitlist. They don’t cover the Pactit app, which hasn’t launched — when it does, it will have its own terms you’ll be asked to accept.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Pactit, based in the United States. You can reach us at hi@pactitapp.com. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
2. Using the site
You may read this site and join the waitlist. Please don’t:
- submit an email address that isn’t yours;
- use bots or scripts against the form, or submit addresses in bulk;
- try to access parts of our systems you haven’t been given access to;
- copy the site’s design, text or images for your own product.
We may remove any waitlist entry at our discretion, particularly if it looks automated or abusive.
3. What the waitlist is
Joining means we’ll email you when Pactit opens. That’s all it is.
It isn’t a purchase, a reservation or a contract, and it doesn’t guarantee you access or a particular price. We may open access in stages. We also can’t promise Pactit will launch, or launch by any particular date — if it doesn’t, we’ll tell you and delete your details.
4. Prices shown here
This site describes solo pacts as free, and group pacts as a 7-day free trial then a one-time unlock of US$1.99 per person. That’s our current intention, not an offer, and it may change before launch. The prices that bind us are the ones shown in the app when you actually pay.
5. Our content
The Pactit name, logo, wording and design belong to us. Link to the site freely; don’t reproduce it or present it as your own without our written permission.
6. Emails
If you join the waitlist, you agree to receive a small number of emails about Pactit launching. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you any time at hi@pactitapp.com. How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. No warranty, and limits on liability
We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of it. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Pactit is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any right you have under consumer law that can’t be waived by agreement.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects people already on the waitlist, we’ll email them.
10. Contact
